Deepika Padukone Fakes Code Of Ethics

By: ABP News Bureau Updated: 18 October 2020, 2:24 AM (IST) New Delhi: Photos of Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Dia Mirza and Jacqueline Fernandez have been reportedly used on the job cards of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee (MGNREGA) workers in Madhya Pradeshs Khargone district.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, the authorities have ordered a probe after pictures of the actresses appeared on at least a dozen MGNREGA job cards in village Piparkheda Naka under Ziranya tehsil, which is located 70 kilometres away from the district headquarters.

Many of the cards have names of male beneficiaries but pictures of Deepika, Dia and Jacqueline appear on them.

RTI activist Sandeep Madahar, who revealed the fraudulent activity, told HT that it was a well-planned scam to siphon public money.

Gaurav Benal, who is the Chief executive officer (CEO), zila panchayat, Khargone, said that he instituted an inquiry after receiving complaints about the use of actresses pictures on the job cards.

He told the daily, I have instituted an inquiry to see if these cards are real and in what circumstances the photographs were used on the cards.

Action will be taken against the guilty if the inquiry committee reports irregularities.

Deepika Padukones photo was used in one of the job cards with name Monu Shivshankar.

Talking about Deepika Padukone, the Padmaavat actress is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film with Shakun Batra in Goa.

She recently shot for a light-hearted scene with co-stars Ananaya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

DP will be next seen in Kabir Khans 83 as Ranveer Singhs on-screen wife.

On the professional front, Jacqueline Fernandez will be next seen in John Abraham starrer Attack.
